




My remake of the album artwork from Silverstein's Discovering the Waterfront in 3D. This piece was made before I had access to Substance Painter, and so the skin was applied to the model using a combination of ambient occlusion nodes, vertex maps, and different subsurface scattering materials. The clouds in the background are mostly VDB volumes, but the smoke trails are transparent sprites. Date of completion: 6/26/21 Responsible for all aspects, except for the 2D concept art, which is from Silverstein's Discovering the Waterfront Album Artwork.
